Black Lagoon Season 1 Black Lagoon : An Explosive Dive into the Criminal Underworld of Roanapura

Chapter 6 — Episode 6

First, the episode opens with a group of neo-Nazis aboard a ship admiring a painting they have just acquired, revealing it is meant to serve as an ideological cornerstone for their National Socialist movement in America, backed by a mysterious elder financier. Back on the Black Lagoon, Dutch, Benny, and Rock analyze the disproportionate resources invested in retrieving the painting and deduce there must be a hidden reason behind its true value. Dutch sends Rock to bring food to Revy, and the two share a tense, unresolved moment referencing the earlier conflict from the U-boat incident. Then, as the moon sets, Dutch and Revy board the neo-Nazi ship to raid it. Revy clears the deck while Dutch creates a diversion, and during the operation Dutch sharply reprimands Revy for losing control and going on a reckless killing spree, warning her that her "Whitman fever" endangers the whole crew. Revy then confronts the ship's acting captain, Fritz Stanford, who dramatically monologues about his custom Luger before she swiftly silences and kills him. Dutch subsequently locates the elder commander and learns the painting conceals hidden financial records — Nazi capital distributed across four paintings — making it extremely valuable to surviving Nazi networks. Finally, the elder coldly betrays Ratchman, the neo-Nazi commander who had organized the operation, dismissing him as expendable. Dutch completes the job and collects payment. On the ride back, Revy quietly confides to Dutch that she cannot accept Rock as a true partner because he belongs to a different world, while Rock, pushed to his limit, erupts in anger at Revy, setting up a volatile confrontation between them.
