Chapter 24 — Episode 24
First, the Kingdom of Science completes all the components needed for their major scientific project — plastic, wiring, vacuum tubes, a microphone — and Senku triumphantly announces the creation of a mobile phone. However, the group quickly realizes they need a second device to actually communicate, and Senku admits he deliberately withheld this information to keep morale high during construction. Using an extended wire connection instead, Chrome makes the first-ever phone call in the Stone World to Ruri, but rather than a romantic confession, he excitedly praises science to her. Then, during the phone test, a conversation about speakers leads Ruri to reveal that scientific knowledge has been distorted over generations into mythological stories in the village's "Hyakumonogatari." This prompts Senku to realize his father Byakuya left behind a recorded message, and the group works to reconstruct a record player using glass discs, a bone needle, a diamond from a crewmember's wedding ring, and a motor from an electric razor. The flashback reveals Byakuya and the astronauts carefully crafted a glass record to preserve a message across thousands of years, featuring the legendary singer Lillian's voice. Finally, when the record is played and Lillian's extraordinary singing fills the air, the entire village is moved to tears and overwhelmed with wonder. Senku uses the moment to inspire everyone, promising to restore all the petrified humans worldwide and share the wonders of the old civilization once Tsukasa's empire is defeated. The episode closes with Taiju and Yuzuriha waiting in hiding near enemy territory, while Tsukasa and Hyoga declare the decisive battle against Senku is near — setting the stage for the Stone Wars.
