Chapter 6 — Episode 6
First, Senku begins the episode exhausted from surviving alone, realizing he desperately needs a physically strong companion. He locates a petrified figure nearby — Taiju — and revives him using the nitric acid solution he discovered. Senku then explains his scientific theories about the petrification event, noting that humans and swallows were uniquely targeted, and deduces that his own revival was caused by a special external factor rather than simple age-related decay. Then, Senku conducts a self-experiment by deliberately breaking his own neck to test the healing power of the de-petrification process, confirming that the restoration effect grants extraordinary regenerative abilities. He reveals his strategic plan: since Tsukasa believes Senku is dead, Senku holds a decisive tactical advantage. He sends Taiju and Kohaku's acquaintance Yuzuriha to infiltrate Tsukasa's empire as spies, sharing the mission details only with Yuzuriha due to her precision and craft skills. Later, Kohaku — a fierce young warrior from a primitive human village — confronts Tsukasa in combat, but is overpowered and pinned under a fallen tree. Tsukasa, deducing she is a descendant of stone-age survivors rather than a revived person, decides to leave her and rush back to seize the miracle water. At the end, Senku arrives and rescues Kohaku using a pulley system inspired by Archimedes, lifting the massive log with calculated leverage. Kohaku, impressed not just by the science but by Senku's unwavering resolve, introduces herself and declares that she has become deeply fond of him.
